The Texas Ranger is very useful in desert landscaping. Its foliage is attractive, and most of the time it is covered with purple flowers. That's a good plant for a corner of the garden with unreliable irrigation or poor soil. But it is also a nice looking plant for better conditions

Blooming Habits:
Purple flowers, 0.5 to 1 inch (1 to 2 cm) in diameter in summer and fall.
