Fukushu 8,9,12-24 Oct-March ‘Fukushu’ has small bright orange entirely edible fruit. Small symmetrical tree with attractive dark, green leaves. Beautiful landscape or container specimen.
Meiwa 8,9,12-24 Oct-March ‘Meiwa’ has round fruit with spicy sweet peel and pulp. The fruit is used for preserves and candied fruit. Similar to the Nagami, the trees are used in home and commercial landscaping and are cold hardy.
Nagami 8,9,12-24 Oct-March ‘Nagami’ is more oblong than the ‘Meiwa’, more acid intaste, and a brighter orange color. The ‘Nagami’ trees are used in home and commercial landscaping and are quite coldhardy.

Fruiting Habits:
The fruit is ovoid with occasional seeds. Slightly tart, it can be eaten fresh (whole) or made in preserves. It is a useful addition in many dishes and salads.

Culture:
Easy to care for, take well to pruning. Needs to be fertilized regularly for optimal growth and good fruit production. Follow regular citrus fertilizing schedule.
