Propagation: Division

This plant is a major pest in many tropical areas. Here in Phoenix, it is not a problem, but still it should never be released in the wild.
It is very resistant to heat, but needs enough direct sun and doesn't tolerate frost. In winter it dies faster from the lack of sun than of frost, so in zone 9 or higher, it is better to let it outside with some protection for the coldest nights

Large showy violet flowers.
