Culture:
Check the bulbs when you receive them. Remove any damaged portion, and dust with sulfur. If the bulbs are looking dry, keep them in moist sand or peat moss until they get rehydrated and show sign of root growth. Plant bulbs as soon as possible.
The soil should be rich in organic matter. Most varieties are intolerant of lime. In Arizona they are pretty much limited to container growing.
