The grey leaves of the Russian Sage are scented.
The plant commonly grown in the USA, often sold as 'Blue Spires' is actually an hybrid between Perovskia atriplicifolia and P. abrotanoides.

Blooming Habits:
Long lasting lavender-blue spikes appear in summer, until fall.

Culture:
Grow in well drained soil, in full sun. Prefers alkaline soil. Cut down the Russian Sage in January to induce nicer growth
