Fresh hyssop can be used as herb, but its taste is relatively weak, and it adds bitterness to the dish. It has also been used medicinally as an expectorant.
'Aristata' is a dwarf cultivar.

Blooming Habits:
The hyssop has a profusion of blue, white, or pink flower spikes from June to December.
