Origin: Western Australia

Growth Habits: Evergreen rhizomatous perennial

Watering Needs: Regular water when growing and flowering, well drained, no water after the end of the blooming period until it stars growing again.

Propagation: Clump division in spring, fresh seeds in late summer

The Kangaroo paw has a very striking appearance. It attracts hummingbirds as well as visitors. Its floral stems are excellent cut flowers.

Blooming Habits:
The Anigozanthos floral stems are excellent cut flowers. They can be used fresh or dried.

Culture:
We lost number of them until we realized that the kangaroo paws is dormant need to stay almost totally dry from the end of the blooming season, until they start growing again in the fall.
