The species name 'horrida' comes from the Latin for spiny.
Blooming Habits:
This euphorb is dioecious (there are male and female plants). It has very small green and yellow cyathias in summer.
Culture:
The area where this euphorb is native receives rains in both winter and summer. You can water it year around except in the cold of the winter, if you see that it is growing.
Propagation:
If you remove an offset, remember to let it dry for a week or so, letting the wound heal. It is better to wash the cut to remove the latex, just remember that this latex is corrosive, and pay extreme attention not to get any in your eyes or mouth.
