Growth Habits: Evergreen mounding shrub, growing rapidly to 4 feet in diameter (1.2 m), 2-3 feet tall (60 to 90 cm), when grown in part shade it becomes more sprawling; smooth, pubescent, gray-green lanceolate leaves, 1 to 2.4 inches long (2.5-6 cm), 0.5 to 0.8 inch wide (12-20 mm)

Watering Needs: Fairly drought resistant when established, needs good drainage

Propagation: Softwood cuttings in late spring to early summer

The genus Convolvulus has over 200 species that can be encountered in temperate to tropical climate all around the world. Most are vines, but some are bush, as the Bush Morning Glory whose native range includes Sicily and Dalmatia.

Blooming Habits:
The Bush Morning Glory leaves are covered with a silvery fuzz, on which contrast the pink buds and the white funnel shaped flowers. According to the legend, the love god made these white cups for Fiorina, the fairy, using sunset fragments. In Phoenix, it blooms from mid-March to October.

Culture:
Prune back to prevent woodiness.
