Origin: Mexico (Tamaulipas)
Growth Habits: Usually solitary, bluish green stem, up to 3.2 inches tall (8 cm), 2.88 inches in diameter (7 cm) or more; about 13 ribs; whitish areoles; no central spine; 13 to 16 reddish radials, with yellowish tips.
Blooming Habits:
Pale reddish purple flowers on summer days.
