Origin: Southeastern Texas, down to Chiapas (Mexico)

Growth Habits: Long stems with numerous aerial roots, up to 13 feet long (4 m), 0.4 to 0.8 inch in diameter (1-2 cm); 4 to 6 ribs or more; small areoles with very short yellow spines becoming black as they age; 1 or 2 centrals; 6 radials.


Blooming Habits:
White to pinkish flowers with yellowish green outer segments, 6 inches long (15 cm)
