Growth Habits: Long thin stems, up to 27 feet long (8 m), 0.4 inch in diameter (1 cm); 9 or 10 obtuse ribs; areoleswith 10 to 15 spines, a couple very short centrals (2 mm), silky radials barely longer.
Watering Needs: Moderate to abundant water in summer, keep dryer in winter.
