Growth Habits: Generally solitary, globose cactus, growing slowly to 1.6 to 2.4 inches in diameter (4-6 cm); tubercle bases 0.3 to 0.5 inch wide (7-12 mm); 7 to 14 spines, 0.2 inch long (5 mm), on young areoles only
Watering Needs: Keep dry in winter, water a little from April to September
