Family: Cactaceae

Origin: Mexico (Baja California: Cedros Island, Guadalupe Island)

Growth Habits: Generally solitary, stems globose with tap root, to 3 inches tall (8 cm) and 1.6 inches in diameter (4 cm), 3 to 5 central spines, with the lower one hooked, 10-13 radials


Blooming Habits:
Cream flowers with purplish midveins, to 0.6 inch in diameter (1.5 cm)
