Growth Habits: Solitary, occasionally branching dichotomously or slowly clumping, 4 inches in diameter (10 cm), 12 inches tall (30 cm) or more, 4 to 7 central spines, 15 to 18 radials


Blooming Habits:
Deep pink to red flowers, 0.5 inches in diameter (1.2 cm)
