Growth Habits: Solitary, up to 4 inches tall (10 cm), 2.4 inches in diameter (6 cm); axils woolly at first; 6 yellow central spines occasionally with darker tips; about 25 yellow radials.

Blooming Habits:
Small pale yellow flowers, 0.3 to 0.4 inch long (8-10 mm), followed by creamy colored elongated fruits.
