Growth Habits: Solitary, 16 inches tall (40 cm), 1 foot in diameter (30 cm), slightly depressed in the center; 21 ribs; grey areoles, 0.8 inch apart (2 cm); 4 central spines, with one hooked, 0.8 to 1.6 inches long (2-4 cm); 15 spreading radials.
