Origin: USA (Colorado, New Mexico, Texas), Mexico (Chihuahua)

Growth Habits: Solitary or clumping, stems 2 to 4 inches tall (5-10 cm); 15 low wide ribs; no central spine; 12 to 15 radial spines, spreading, white with an occasional reddish tinge, 0.2 to 0.3 inch long (5-7 mm).


Blooming Habits:
Purple flowers, 1.6 to 2.4 inches long (4-6 cm), tube with woolly areoles
