Growth Habits: Usually solitary, globose stem, 2-3 inches in diameter (5-8 cm), 0 or 1 central spine; 11-16 radial spines, up to 0.5 inch long (1.2 cm)
The cacti sold as "Coryphantha palmeri" in the trade, generally belong to this species.
Blooming Habits:
Abundant light yellow flowers.
