Growth Habits: Jumble of succulent stems, up to 1 foot tall (30 cm), stems are generally less than 1 inch in diameter (2.5 cm)
Propagation: Seeds, cuttings
This is supposedly a clone of Cereus hildmannianus (although many authorities don't seem to beleive it), the invalid 'tetragonus' epithet sometimes used in the trade refers to the fact that seemingly normal stems have generally four sides. Other parts of the cactus form a jumble of merging stems, also occasionally called "Manhattan Skyline".
There are other slightly different plants sold under different names. They are relatively easy to grow, particularly when kept small.
