Origin: Brazil (Mato Grosso)

Growth Habits: Shrubby, basally branching, up to 10 feet tall (3 m); bluish stems up to 3 feet tall (90 cm), 2.4 to 3.6 inches in diam. (6 to 9 cm); 7 or 8 ribs; areoles 0.5 inches apart, with whitish wool; bicolor spines, with dark base; 3 to 5 centrals; 6 to 8 radials


Blooming Habits:
White nocturnal flowers, up to 7.5 inches long (19 cm).
