Growth Habits: Tree-like cactus, up to 27 feet tall (8 m), stems up to 3 inches thick (8 cm), 3 or 4 ribs; 1 to 6 white central spines; up to 2 inches long; 3 to 8 radials;
Blooming Habits:
Nocturnal greenish white flower with odd floral structure: the flowers come inside a small green shoot that cracks open to let the flower out. The white flower has brownish outer petals and is up to 4.5 inches long (11 cm), 2 inches in diameter (5 cm)
