Growth Habits: Globular solitary cactus, up to 6 inches in diameter (15 cm); 13 ribs; up to 5 centrals, 2.4 inches long (6 cm), one hooked; 7 or 8 radials.

Watering Needs: Very little water in winter

Propagation: Seeds


Blooming Habits:
Purple diurnal flowers, 0.8 inches (2 cm)
