Growth Habits: Bushy annual, 12 to 15 inches tall (30-37 cm), 6 inches spread (15 cm), dwarf cultivars stay below 6 inches tall (15 cm); shiny green lance-shaped leaves, up to 3.5 inches long (8.5 cm)

Watering Needs: Regular water, needs good drainage, prefers calcareous soils

Propagation: Seeds, germinate quickly in 1 to 2 weeks, don't cover them much, or not at all

The candytuft was used as a herbal treatment for rheumatism.

Blooming Habits:
The globe candytuft bears small sweet-scented white, pink, or red flowers, in umbels. These are good cut flowers. Deadhead to get a longer blooming period.
