Growth Habits: Evergreen shrub or tree, up to 12 feet tall (3.6 m), 15 feet spread (4.5 m)
Watering Needs: Little to moderate water when established, well drained soil
Although an evergreen, the leaves easily turn maroon with the cold of the winter, and fall just before the new leaves start growing.
The evergreen sumac is deer resistant.
Blooming Habits:
The fragrant white flowers appear in August-September, followed by fuzzy orange-red berries that attract birds.
