Watering Needs: Moderate to little water when established, needs good drainage

The Mount Atlas Pistache is often used as a rootstock for pistachio nut trees.

Blooming Habits:
The Mount Atlas Pistache is dioecious, meaning that there are female trees and male trees. The fruits appear on female tree only if there are male trees in the vicinity. The fruits are pink, ripening to dark blue or purple.
