Although Dracaena fragans has been on the market for a long time, Dracaena deremensis is now more sold more often. It tends to lose its charm when aging and might have to be rejuvenated by using the top of it as a cutting. Although many of the varieties sold are striped, 'Janet Craig' is solid green, and the compact variety is easily recognizable to its looks.
